Session Themes: [Knowledge-Based Systems for e-Business]


This Session invites the reserch papers of knowledge-based systems for e-business. Knowledge-based system for e-business means the systems, such as the expert system, the artificial intelligent system, data/text mining system and so on, applied to the business domain using network and internet.

In addition, we also would like to discuss the chance discovery. The chance discovery consists of extracting rules from stored data and predicting the phenomena. In fact, chance discovery will suggest new business proposal to the users, but the next problem is how to evaluate and select proper chance.
Thus, we would like to discuss the knowledge-based system for e-business from computational, cognitive, sociological, economical and psychological viewpoints. Of course, other viewpoints are welcome!

Topics to be discussed (will not be restricted to):

  1. Expert System for e-Business.
  2. Artificial Intelligence system for e-Business
  3. Data/Text mining System
  4. Chance Discovery in e-Business
  5. Analysis of human behavior.

Submission:

The papers should be submitted through PROSE Online Paper Submission system.

Please follow the KES'07 guidelines for more information on paper submission. Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present the paper.

Important Dates:

  1. 16 March, 2007: Submission deadline of papers
  2. 31 March, 2007: Notification of acceptance of papers.
  3. 30 April, 2007: Deadline for camera-ready papers
  4. by 31 May 2007: All presenting authors in the Invited Session must register with payment for their papers to appear in the proceedings.
  5. 12, 13 & 14 September, 2007: Session

Review:

All submissions will be reviewed on the basis of relevance, originality, significance, soundness and clarity. At least three referees will review each submission independently.

Publication:

The papers accepted in the invited session will be expected to be published by the Springer-Verlag Lecture Notes in AI as part of the LNCS series.
